Antler spread

« back to list

The widest distance between antlers. Antler spread is measured differently for each antlered species. For example, antler spread of white-tailed deer is the greatest inside spread between main beams. It is measured perpendicular to the centerline of the skull. Antler spread in moose is the greatest distance between outside points or antler edges. This measurement is also taken perpendicular to the center line of the skull.
